This presentation examines the health disparities between cisgender and gender-expansive (trans and non-binary) college students. Using data from 4,452 students, including 76 gender-expansive students, the study finds that gender-expansive students experience worse health, more medical issues, and greater delays in medical and dental care. The disparities are primarily linked to financial, housing, and food insecurity, as well as mental health, substance use, exercise habits, and healthcare access. However, differences in family support and closeness do not appear to contribute to these disparities.
