Brian Connor is a Lecturer of Sociology. He regularly teaches courses in Cultural Sociology, Sociological Theory, Social Problems, and Privacy and Surveillance. He was named a Lead Faculty Fellow for University Honors for 2024-2026, and won the Provost's Excellence Award for Professional Track Faculty in 2023. His research interests are in cultural sociology, political sociology, and social theory. Currently his research examines differences in public perceptions of state and corporate invasions of privacy.
