Dr. Kris Marsh Selected for the 2017 OMSE Academy of Academic Excellence "Excellence in Service" Medal for Outstanding Faculty

Congraulations to Dr. Kris Marsh, for being selected by the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Education's (OMSE) Academy of Excellece as the recipient of the 2017 Excellence in Service Medal for Outstanding Faculty!

The award goes to a faculty member who has made outstanding contributions to the academic excellence and lives of multi-ethnic students at the University of Maryland. More specifically, the award considers:
 
  • How the individual gives freely and unselfishly of their time to multi-ethnic students and/or multi-cultural community activities
  • How the nominees inspires multi-ethnic students and acts as a role model
  • How the nominee has had a positive impact on the academic success of multi-ethnic student(s)
  • How the nominee improves the lives of others
