Hao-Chun Cheng had received a B.A. and Master's degree in Sociology at the National Taipei University, Taiwan. In addition, he has received a master's degree in Survey Methodology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Hao-Chun had worked at the Institute of Sociology and the Center for Survey Research in Taiwan. He was also a statistical consultant at the Center for Statistical Consultation and Research (CSCAR) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His research interests include demography and social stratification, especially the issues of first marriage and gender stratification. Hao-Chun has presented his projects in the Population Association of America (PAA) annual meetings.
