Sydney Yarbrough is a second year doctoral student and McNair Fellow studying intersectionality, social psychology, social inequality. Her current projects include an extensive content analysis of Essence Magazine with Dr. Dow, as well as a quantitative project examining content production on social media and how this is related to well-being. Her past work explored how college students experience gender microaggressions. Sydney also serves as one of the graduate assistants for the Critical Race Initiative (CRI) and co-president of Sociology's Graduate Student Forum (GSF).
