Students must complete 120 academic hours, with a minimum of "C" (2.0) average to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree.  For a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology students must satisfy three sets of requirements:

  • Sociology Department Requirements - Sociology requirements include a minimum of 35 credit hours of sociology, MATH107/STAT100 (or higher).
  • Students must earn at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA in all major courses even though a minimum grade of “C-” (1.7) may apply towards major requirements.
  • An internship is recommended and can fulfill a major requirement.
