Congratulations to soon-to-be-Dr. Simone Durham, who won this year's Irene B. Taeuber Graduate Student Paper Award from the District of Columbia Sociological Society! The award recognizes the best paper submitted by graduate students in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. The award will be formally presented at the DCSS 2021 annual banquet and awards ceremony this October.

Simone's paper is titled "Not in this Lifetime: Black Millennial Reflections on Extant and Future Impacts of the Black Lives Matter Movement."
