The Sociology Department has an ongoing exchange program with the University of Surrey, Guildford England.  Each year the department selects two Sociology majors to participate in this program.  The students who are selected receive full one-year tuition scholarships.

To be eligible for the exchange you must be entering your junior year with a 3.0 overall GPA, preferably a 3.2 GPA in Sociology, and a willingness to study in Britain for a full year. An informational mmeeting will be announced at the beginning of February. Applications for interested students will be available in the Undergraduate Office and are due by March 10.
